Karl C. Colder, President

Karl C. Colder started Colder Allied Consulting, LLC in May 2018 and has been in the law enforcement field for more than 32 years. He served as special agent in charge (SAIC) for the Washington division of the Drug Enforcement Administration or DEA (retired senior executive service). Moreover, he has more 32 years of career leadership and professional investigative experience with the DEA.


He was responsible for managing the investigative productivity and leveraging budgetary strategies for a division consisting of more than 500 personnel, including special agents, task force officers, intelligence analysts, diversion investigators, security specialists, IT Specialists, contract employees, and support staff located in 13 facilities within a four-state region (Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington DC).


Prior to working in the Washington division office, Karl served as the deputy chief inspector of the DEA Office of Professional Responsibility. In this position, he served in the senior executive service as the principal advisor to the DEA chief inspector on all DEA internal-related investigative matters and led one of DEA’s most sensitive and important programs.


When he became head of that office, Karl ensured DEA’s professionalism, credibility, and long standing reputation. As a result, the department’s high integrity was maintained with the public and Congress. In addition, Karl has also held management and supervisory roles in the following areas:

Karl has also help non-supervisory special agent investigative positions in St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands (USVI), and in Philadelphia (where he started his career).


Currently, Karl serves as the Director of Program Development at Mentor Foundation USA, and as a Law Enforcement Advisor/Consultant for

NIS Solutions, TAG-IT TECH, INC., GenCanna Global, and EagleForce Health Associates.  He also serves in independent consultant roles to other companies and non-profit organizations.


For his education, Karl earned Bachelor's of Art degrees in Political Science and Social Relations from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania. He also has a Masters of Art degree in Human Resources Training and Development from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey.
